    led lights

Like the under gunnel lights. Great picture of a dual console. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of the bow area before. Nice lounge seats and plenty of room to get to the anchor or fish.

    What Size Pool Cover?

BigShrimpin, Cooler bag yes. Grunden maybe but probably be better as chaps or apron because the flex is minimal. It would bind up and not be very comfortable at any joint (knees ,waist ,etc) You could use it for an enclosure but I wouldn't. It would be to thick to complete the hems where the...

    What Size Pool Cover?

Good question Destroyer. I'm pretty sure it would be fine. I used the 10oz stuff as a cockpit cover for 5 winter seasons but every type of material is different. One supplier vs another can have different results. I will put a piece of the Billboard tarp stuff out overnight and try bending to...

    What Size Pool Cover?

This 16oz stuff is heavy to work with. I'm sure it would be awesome for a winter cover providing your framing can support the weight of the tarp.

    What Size Pool Cover?

I order a few of the 13-16 oz tarps from Billboard tarps. Nice heavy reinforced heavy weight material. Not a solid color tarp and a little bit of dirt on the vinyl (foot prints). A new 15' x 25' piece of tarp from a wholesaler would be about $160 A rough tarp from billboard is around $50...

    Long winter..........

Sadly this is more then likely coming to our backyard soon. A few years back I replaced the rotted lower section of the salon bulkhead on our Bertram. Fun job in the middle of winter.

    Long winter..........

We get to work on our boats in the winter also. It's just a bit harder and more time consuming. Usually you're working under a tarp, shrink wrap, cover. Running kerosene heaters trying to get things done while temps stay over 50 degrees. Not to mention you get to shovel your way to the boat...

    What Size Pool Cover?

Interesting link. The 15-17 mil...13-17 oz would be pretty heavy. Might be heavy enough to lay out and mark the darts to custom fit the vinyl.

    Can't catch a break!!

Sorry Joe, That darn cold snap really came fast. I double checked my heat up stairs just to make sure it was cycling on. We seldom go up to the second floor I just leave the heat at 59 to keep it from getting too cold.

    V ride

Phat, That's cool! Building cost are pretty high around here. I think lots of the fishing boats are built in Louisiana. Fairhaven shipyard here built two Scalloper last year. Seems the build cost is getting close. The scallop fishery is big $$$ around here. New Bedford has held the #1 fish...

    V ride

We still have a few Sword boats that fish out of New Bedford. The last one to buy provisions was a boat called Whitewater. Long trip to the fishing grounds. Usually a 30 day trip. 5 days of steaming there and then 5 days back all to chase the swords on the break of the gulf stream. Crazy!!

    OE rear bench seat pic

Bill, It's pretty much a tube frame with two cushions. One cushion for the seat and one for the backrest. Nothing really fancy about it. Just my opinion but I would buy two deck chairs to place in each corner instead of the bench seat. We used the bench one season and then left it stored in...

    two dollars a week..........

Nice truck! My uncle just bought an all original 1958 chevy pickup. I believe it's a 3100 with a creeper gear. Still has vacuum wipers. It was a US forestry truck I think. My father in law has a 1969 chevy 1500 pickup. Would love to get my hands on it.
