yeah I was thinking about that too, I was set on going with poly but I really don't want any lamination problems so I might be going back to my original plan and going with epoxy.

i like the idea of leaving some glass left there so you have something to follow. I guess if you sand it enough with some 80 grit poly will stick to it with out a problem.

how hard was it to if the new lumber in there? I am seriously thinking about outsourcing that part of the job, but since I am notoriously frugal I would like to do it myself to save some coin. I know the transom is a piece of cake. I was just curious about the stringers.

I think a lot of those guys backing their boats down that hard either don't realize it from the adrenaline or they do it because they think it looks cool.

I guess it also depends which construction process you think is better also. I have been YF's seem to be top notch along with Contenders. If it my my choice I would love a Invincible.

for that price I'd buy a set just to test them. In my opinion, trim tabs are a technology that has been developed so long ago that it shouldn't cost a lot of money to make a set. That stuff if probably made in china.
