    Brandnew never shot 223. Im gonna setting it up as my short range coyote gun. Not sure what grain im gonna shoot with the 1:7 twist. Theres alot of debate on that subject. I will also be putting a modest 3-9x40 ar223 scope with quickb detach base on top. Any other ideas you guys have im all ears.

    I would grind the cracks down past the gel coat in a circle or patch style. Then layup 2 progressive layer of CSM (more of a structual repair rather than just filling it)....then fill a fair as needed to prep for primer and paint of choice.     I want to get some advice on which one to buy. What amp is best f or maintaining? I run a single battery know but will have duals very soon. It will also be permanently mounted in the boat with the plug out the side of the console for easy plug in. Thanks in advance.

    I made 6oz and 8oz. And 12 oz also for tandem rigs. We wire line the 12oz. We bounce alot of bottom rocks sand etc.

    I have learned a trick to that also. Scuff your jighead with 80 grit sandpaper the crosshatch scuff will create a mechanical bond surface for the paint to stick to. Holds up really well to impact.

    I used polyester all the way to the end. The boat was oroginally built with it plus my budget couldnt afford epoxy. Are you in va beach? Would be more than happy ti help you with anything you need help with.

    I have tying seawitches since i was a kid so the nylon wasnt hard for me. Learning a powder paint technique was the hard part. I ended up learning from another friend of mine to heat jig head in oven.......remove with visegrips...sprinkle and brush out powder paint....return to oven for 10...

    I searched hard for a affordable electronics box for my t-top. So i decided to convert my Smith t-top bag to a cheap functional electronics box. Here is the finish product. It turned out perfect. All i did was build a wood insert for the bag.
