I think I did the heavy stuff with 800 first and then 1200 if I recall? Do a few google searches and you'll find everyone's favorite method. I had the garden hose on mist in one hand and sandpaper in the other and just went at it.

Do a search....somewhere along the way somebody has posted a source for the exact Wellcraft match....been a while though. If you go the mix route....however much you think you need to darken it a bit from the pure white, divide that amount by like a 100.

Yea the mirror shot is cool for sure.....You give that hull a wet sand, compound and wax you may be able to get that hull pretty close to what that stripe looks like. I had the same effect with a large vinyl sticker on the side of mine...its nearly invisible now.

I am going to check that....i just put a new battery in this year and had problems with it right before. I had just installed a brand new battery when this happened. I attributed it to the fact that i had left my fish finder on overnight but i need to check it out.
