    Synthetic two-cycle oil

You can either chose longevity on your investment or not. My engine has a setting for the XD100 that allows you to burn less oil---one way or another you pay! Yes I pay around $38 a gallon for my oil and am lucky to burn 5 gallons a year at around 400 hrs a year. Cheap insurance on a...

    Ultimate outboards for V21

I have the 200HO 3.3 E-tec and love mine. The weight is more than the 2.6 200 for sure--but has not caused me a issue yet--including 65 miles offshore. Fuel burn is awesome for the engine--It is better than my freinds with the 200 Yammi 4 strokers and I eat them up in out of the hole and the...

    Transom Question

If the transom is good--go for it. I have a 88 V-20 with a 200HO E-TEC. There is some extra weight there for sure, but mine works fine--the back of the boat handles it okay. Go for it!!

    New Helm / Steering Cable

You have taken on a rough job fiting that cable in there--I cut mine off as well--hoping to sell it--only had 2 years on mine(dual cable NFB), but no other way to get it out except unmounting the motr and sliding the cable out. I have the same well and to get mine in or out you had to unbolt...

pre fab radar arch choices, any thoughts?

You will have to pull up the AT website to see- but I cut about 3 inches off the upright hieght on mine and you can see where it is on the stand up top. The bridge for the arch you order the width you need--they have 3 widths to help with different widths. You can also mount the...

pre fab radar arch choices, any thoughts?

I did do the install myself----- But measured 4 times and cut once!!! On the pieces mounting to the sides of the boat--I taped the pipe and then cut it with a pipe cutter(roller wheel) for a clean straight cut. Then they epoxy on to the ends plus you drill and tap holes for bolts as...

pre fab radar arch choices, any thoughts?

No play and no rattle at all---and apparently the supports they supply are plenty as I do not even have any stress cracks after 2 years--and I tend to run hard out in the Pacific Northwest waters. Here are some more pictures with the 8 pole holders.

pre fab radar arch choices, any thoughts?

I have the Atlantic tower in a box-- I will recomend--very well built and very stable--good fit and I think looks great on these boats. I have added 4 pole holders up top and am working on a flip up stern light and radar. Here are a few pictures. If you have more questions of me and this...

    Team Genie Aye Fishin machine

Bummer is we had to throw the yellow eye back--We are not allowed to keep them--even though they are dead when you bring them up from 600'. I put in ALOT of Ling every year. I use to get bigger ones diving for them--once a year only because they are our breeders. I like them about the size...

    V21 seating

You could move the seats back when you mount them--But yes I can stand in front of the seat--but it is tight--the way I wanted it. I either sit or drive on one knee most of the time. The magic fish was a cool pic.

    V21 seating

I am not sure where the bait tank is on the V-21 but this is my set up on my V-20. Built my own seat bases for storage and height--to get the seats up where they are comfortable and good vision.

    More trailer advice

Beleive me I did that--on these Cox trailers--I do not think they would work on any boat--I moved the rollers all over--per 3 different people who set up boat trailers. Bunk it!

    3 blade or 4

You will loose RPM for sure by staying the same on dia and pitch. The question is how it will pull out of the hole?? You will have to let us know---theory is it will pull out better, but if it is to much load--you know what will happen-- This is the prop change question we all have for sure.

    More trailer advice

My modification was inexpensive and used everything from the old trailer--Just had to by some nuts and bolts-planks and carpeting along with stainless staples. It worked great and cost around $200 --just lucky on my design that it worked well. Just wanted as much support as possible--I do alot...

First--200HO is 510lbs 200 is 418lbs 100lbs to small block The 200HO is also 218 hp at the prop. The speed difference should not be more then 5 to 7 mph I would think. Question is --how fast do you want to go??? With mine loaded for tuna--means ice--alot-Fish hold full...
