V20 Fundraiser - Auction For MJ.

That is a pretty awsome thing that just happened here. Even though I didn't get a chance to contribute, (I was planning to), I have a really warm fuzzy feeling.

    prop survey

I'm with Big Joe, 1980 175 Evinrude and I run a 15 X 17, I do mostly off shore fishing and have never really been that concerned with top end. What I like about the 15 X 17 is that it is more of a power prop, I can set the throttle and the trim and push my way solidly through a 3 foot sea...

    Battery Setup

Whopper, I'm hoping you just lost some gelcoat. I also have a 73 cuddy that I have owned since 1985, I had some cracks appear on the bottom and some gelcoat come off back in 89. really found the problem when I started taking on some water through the cracks. Turned out the stringers were rotten...

    Bonito out of Boynton

I believe you are right, thanks for the education. I never really took the time to distinguish the difference, but Little Tunny sounds right. They are fun to catch anyway. Yes, Florida now has a minimum dolphin size limit of 20" from head to fork and a bag limit of 10... Thanks for the...

    Bonito out of Boynton

Went out Saturday, my boat and my neice and nephew-in-law's 22 ft Angler, which they claim they are addicted to... told them it is a lifetime long addiction. The first pic is on the High Dive, the second fish was caught by my neice (holding the baby). Also caught ( and released )a slew of...

    trailers

Same here, I had my single for almost 7 years, it work great for my two mile trips to the ramps and went down to the Keys (150 miles avg each way) many a time. It was on a trip back from the keys that I lost the wheel, it was my fault for not changing out the bearings when I should have... I...

    Almost Sunk!

Yea, that is one of those things you only do once! At least I have only done it once! so far. "Uncle Ed, is that water supposed to be coming up through that hole like that?" Luckily my plug goes in from the inside as we were heading out the inlet!

    trailers

I had a single axle, crank on, back in the 80's for my 1st trailer. graduated to a drive on tandem axle which handles much better and safer I think, also better with weight over 4 wheels versus 2 wheels, every thing lastes longer.. tires etc. Lost a wheel with the single axle too. :o I thank God...

    V20 Hull Construction

There is no foam in my 73 cuddy. I had it opened up for new stringers and transom back in 89. I will post pic's.. no, really, I will.. as soon as I find them. I have a million pic's to post from my 21 (almost) years of owning the High Dive. I may have some questions about setting up a gallery...
