I 've had two. They are a heavy well riding boat. They were prone to the same problems all boats from that vintage. Soft floors and rotten transoms. They used alot of fiberglass, and are big for their respective sizes.

Well my brother went down to check on my boat today. He sent me a couple of pictures of the damage. Thankfully this storm never materialized into what it was expected to be. I'm starting 10 days of vacation tomorrow and will be at the shore.

He is probably talking about "Coosa" board or something similar. I don't see a problem using plywood as long as the guy you are going to hire is comfortable working with it. Plywood as long as its encapsulated properly will last another 30 years maybe longer.

I love the idea of the flip up bolster as I do most of my driving standing up. However, the prices of these things is crazy. Garelick makes a nice one but for $800. come on. If anyone finds one in the $200 range, I'm in.
