After a better look at the windshield I don't think its a "V", the side glass is too short. Plus, Wilson makes a good point about the indentation on the transom. It definitely looks a whole lot like a V though.

I just looked in the Gallery, the 1970 V's had the same bow rail but the floor configuration looks different.

The sierra, tempo, attwood, etc fuel lines are all junk. Buy the OEM fuel line for your motor or make one yourself by purchasing the fuel line and OEM components. They arent cheap compared to the off brands but they will last 10x longer and be more reliable.

All the V-20 transoms have a slight bow to them. As long as there is no flex when you apply pressure to the transom your good to go.

If you want to get the kids into flying R/C buy them a GWS Slow Stick. Its electric, but incredibly easy to fly and almost indestuctible. I have one that I used to do aerial photography with. The whole set up with radio and charger is under $200 and the plane is a blast. I miss flying but...

I can't see the picture but if I could offer one piece of advice, sell the 9.9 separately. Those small motors fetch a premium on their own.

I pulled (2) tanks out of two different 79' V-20's and both were 60 gallons.

I have a sliding hatch off a 79' but I'm pretty sure it wont fit a 73'.
