    Pirogue build thread

Well here is the little pirogue Im building for those that havent seen it on Facebook. As stated before I just wanted something to fool around in some ponds and wanted something light. The main goal here was something durable with as little weight as possible. This isnt a show piece at all so it...

Anyone know how many bandaids it takes..

To change the radiator on a Tahoe? Answer: 3 with a remainder of thumb. Id also like to find the guy that was in charge of radiator clamp R&D and drop kick him in the penis. I wasn't there but I am pretty sure the conversation went something like this: R&D-worker- "we still have to stamp...

Money saving tip of the day

I dont know if yall have priced copper ring terminals lately but its gotten rediculous. Copper tubing works great. They are pennies apiece to make and only take a minute or so a piece. Shown here is 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2. Its good clean copper to they solder great as well as crimp.

I grew some cubanelle and marconi peppers this year and they are awesome. I love the seize cause one makes a meal near bout it. I stuffed some Marconi with deer, cream cheese and bacon last night. They were awesome. Smoked em at 250 for about 30 minutes, deer meat already partially browned to...

I've worked on some rods in the past and had a make shift deal set up with a drill motor but I have some rods that need attention and decided to build something better. It has a 5rpm synchronous motor out of a microwave. Should do nicely I think. Still have a couple things to finish up like the...

    Squid are survivalists

Last week one afternoon Id been in and out of the bathroom pretty good. I thought all had cleared so I hopped in the tub to wash off the filth from the previous fought war. I was relaxing and let out a poot in the tub. Now I know why squid use this method for defense. If one of yall had been...

Got on a few fish Saturday

We got to cristen the new G3 anyways. We caught a few specks, sheepshead, flounder and I got two nice slot reds. The boat runs great and will top out fully loaded in a 1' chop at about 39mph. Which is plenty fast IMO.
