    Worth relocating fuel tank?

The stearn of my tank is about 2.5' in front of the front of the splash well access hatch. I have a 200 Rude and the transom (20") sits about 6" above the waterline with a 6" bracket and a 50 lb piece of stainless plate. Now keep in mind the transom thru hulls that drain the splashwell are right...

SHE FLOATS!!! And So do I :(

I know that feeling as well. Quitting was easy, too easy. I didn't smoke for about 6 months. Not smoking after a few drinks was what got me back on the hook. With that said, one of my favorite things is to light one up when I just left the dock. I would say it is for that reason that I don't...

    why!!!!!

Tyler Durden (Scottish Professor back in the 1600's I believe) said that a true democracy could never work long term because those in power would empty the government coffers in order to buy the votes of the people. The people would vote for those that promised to give them the most for the...

Bunk vs Roller trailer ? Easy choice in NE

^^^ Spare's post +1 Especially the part about taking forever. He's guiding his boat on and getting it all lined up blah blah blah, good luck doing all that when you are loading on the Intercoastal with a stiff wind, a tide change, and a 50' Jarrett Bay or the like cruising by at 25 knots...

    Clean them out

That really sucks but I have to tell you that the SEC is in bed with the hedge funds and money market managers as well as the politicians. I trade pretty extensively and the market manipulation I see on a daily basis is disgusting. I've complained to the SEC and I have led drives and petitions...

This Is Why There Are No Jobs in America . . .

And beacuse I'm not only your partner, I'm also the world's partner (I gotta diversify our profits ya know), I'm going to let businesses that employ people including children to work 14 hour days making pennies on the dollar compete with our business by allowing their products into this country...

Bunk vs Roller trailer ? Easy choice in NE

I back my trailer to where the bunks are about 3/4 underwater, line her up relatively straight and drive her right up to the point where it hits the roller at the winch. Lean over the bow, hook it up, 1 or two full turns of the winch, cut engine, tilt, and tell whomever is driving to drive. Do...

Bunk vs Roller trailer ? Easy choice in NE

Wonder why that is that the ramps up north just are not built at the proper angle and of sufficient length? I have a bunk trailer with 10" bunks so it sits pretty high. I've been to probably 30 ramps and have never had a problem.

    So Here She is

Here is a pic that shows the 1/2" thick aluminum plates to bolt the t-top to as well as a profile of the divynicell. Another pic is the foam board all pre-cut and ready to be removed to lay a layer of PB and place back on.

    So Here She is

Time to post more pics. I've been rebuilding using divynicell H80 1/2" foam board. Lots of grinding to get all the rot and not quite rot off. Getting the platform to make the floor completely flat took a little more than I was anticipating but it is FLAT. Bags of water were to distribute weight...

    Weekend Hog killin

I've only gone hog hunting once down in SC at the Santee Cooper River but we were catching them alive....well the dogs would catch them and we would put the handcuffs on them. It was a wild deal. The dogs probably got the worst of it but these dogs looked like demon-pitbull-boxer mixes. The...

    VRO 150 Ocean Pro

I no longer have mine. When my fuel pump went out a few years back, my mechanic thought it was a good time to get rid of the VRO. I've heard a few stories of them putting the breaks/brakes on good times. Do you run high test? I only run the good stuff otherwise I get a lot of predetonation.
