Yep that's typical fishing here! We have too wait for the V -20 weather and you better know where the bite is. Information is generally kept a little tight lipped. Take the challenge fish North East. :nut:
Excellent time this year with four V-20"s and one guess 31 Contender. Lumberslinger and his wife (If you saw his boat you would wish he built your house).Old Reliable Rob Wilson with his super family along with Newfie has never missed a get together yet. Captain Pete who rarely misses with his...
Great Great trip. I see you punished the fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to have a trip in that part of the world, just to switch off from our type of fishing here in New Jersey. My favorite would be the halibut:clap:.
Don't sound too bad at all, stuck to your game plan and still caught a shark and a Mahi Mahi . Fishing out of a 20 footer offshore and catching fish is going the distance! Maybe the next V-20 day I hope to join you for the BFT.
OK Back bay fishing with those little rod's and jig's works for me. Am sure you could survive the hassle. IMO a naked minnow work's the best. I guess am just turning into a soft core fisherman!
I remember oh maybe about 12years ago the Blue fish were just about out to the canyon. Good catch Dan I think we may have another V-20 going the distance soon!!!
Hey Chuck sound's like your out riggers got put to a little test.Hope they didn't destroyed any tuna lures.
Too much fish for the V-20...this one had to be towed. A painful 4-hour tow but with a smile on our faces.
I hope everyone can share in my joy realizing that any fisherman could have caught this fish but I could say there were tense moments during a 2-1/2 hour battle. Only two of us aboard, one...
Fantastic! It appears to be maybe 15 pounds?
Made it out Friday, very sporty in the morning, needed the curtains which of course were not on the boat, but went the distance and got the reward...will post by hopefully tonight.
