From my days in the industry, I don't recall who, but I was told the regs require the cowling to be withing 10% of the rated HP. And that Yamaha, for longevity, rated on the conservative side while Mercury always pushed the envelope for performance.
Are you having a senior member moment? Jk
I hope this is the correct way but since I am logged in as an admin a lot of things are visible to me that aren't to others but this appears to be the correct process.

I can't be coded on this or I'll deny it but I feel like it was a pursuit in the 23 ft Grange with 130 Yamahas. I wish I was a small boat for twins but cool that you had a second motor. And I have seen both with twin nineties before.
Me too I started with them when they had 12 stores and left them when they had about a hundred stores. I went from a part-time sales in a store to right hand to the GM and Senior buyer. I'm still not sure how they screwed that up. I'll find out one day.
NEW UPDATE
I am not a fan of advertising. I don't think much of advertising on a forum. For example, I was on THT the other day seeing giant banners for cell phone cases. Made the whole site seem fake. Who wants to think about cell phone cases when you are on a boating fourm?
That said...my...
Did you see the new El Camino concept? Cool but wonder if they can put a power train in it that actually works.
Any pictures? Love OBS. Have a 99 Tahoe back in the states, gave it to my cousin since I am in PR. Love it, aside from replacing door handles and hinge pins.
Twin nineties would weigh more than one 200. I just remember that boat looking so cool with the 130s. I think maximum horsepower from the brochures says 150? Smart thing is a 200
I keep playing in my head that I want to put twin 90s on one of them. I had a friend with a pair of 130s on a 23 CC and thought it was the coolest boat took it offshore everywhere.
I found it, it's sharp! But I want the generation before with the flat cap and as a project boat to do my own thing. Did you tell them to post it here for sale?
Everyone should have also received the newsletter update with everything that we have done on the site. We sent out 2,000 newsletters and I've also generated email verifications for sign ups that previously never received them.
