    red is hot, and should be on the left side, at the bottom in that picture. all the other screws on the left side, other than the "hot in" at the bottom, only purpose is to connect the fuses to the "hot bar" and energize them, no wires should be attached to those screws. the middle run of screws...

    thats why i wanna put it in the bilge. on the "battery shelf", if you mean the boxes in the aft, port and stbd, it will need to be pulled out to add oil. in the bilge i can arange it so that when i open the bilge access hatch it will be right there. just unscrew the cap and poor it in. frees up...

    ive always read and been told that tongue weight should be 10% 0f total weight. but i dont think there is an exact percentage formula cause very heavy trailers would put too much on the hitch and very light ones... how far back the axle assembly is will also affect more than just tongue weight...

    might be the ugliest dash ever! but i got some more aluminum, ill do something with it. also got the helm in and hoses ran. dealing with some wiring issues and overthinking a couple things like where to mount ****. that slowed progress down a bit but i want it right so... not as easy as i hoped...

    notched the cap so the motor would mount flush and mounted the motor. got trim tabs installed. the hole for the controls was too big so i made a plate out of some scrap 3/16 aluminum plate

    Prop question???

    wish i had prop problems! running the prop that was on the motor on the other boat (mercury vengeance and the last 3 of the model number are 19p, so i guess it a 19pitch?) so far its done a hell of a job out there in the yard, hanging off the trailer. smh

    dont mean to sound like a smarta$$ bradford, but dont do much good to put her in the water without batteries,lol. what ive got now is a hot wire lead in the starboard aft box, but no ground. and a hot and negative lead in the port box but they go to the timer switch for the livewell and splice...
