    been saying it for years...............

Your link is for a single stage blower. If the snow gets deep you will want a dual stage (slow feed augur and fast throw impeller). Also, snow bowers need considerable energy to move heavy snow so gasoline is probably a better (albeit less convenient) option. Here is a gas 2 stage for a similar...

Need recommendation on new trailer for my '87 V20 Steplift

Short ride, no problem at all (assuming a trailer up to the task). Bunks vs rollers depends on the ramp but should be no big deal if it's only an annual haul. Welcome and Merry Christmas !!

    battery placement

Awesome. For me, side access is the way to go and four inches is plenty of clearance for brackets, shelves etc. Thanks Twist! I appreciate your detailed due diligence on this. Now I have to start looking over how to lay out the trolling motor so that it doesn't interfere with my pulpit... I...

    battery placement

Yea pretty sure a properly bedded and secured battery won't be much of a risk in my situation. But thanks for your kind guidance. I'll let you know next time I'm in RI -maybe we can hook up again..

    battery placement

So how much room is there between the top of the battery and the underside of the deck? Obviously don't want to just drop the battery into a hole with an uneven bottom - will need to fabricate a base with a built in angle to compensate. I'm thinking maybe a sandwich made up of 1/2" rubber mat...

1995 Merc 200HP - its not broke. Should I fix it?

Update So I took the motor apart today to send the injectors out for cleaning. Went easy. Again it seems to run fine but I was surprised by the amount of oil inside the throttle body (I pre-mix) and especially the gunk on the outside of the butterflys. I'v never been inside one of these before...

    battery placement

I moved my batteries from the stern to the fish box just aft of the cuddy bulkhead (I have an '89). Made a nice difference. I would be most interested in your findings if you decide to drill depth holes as those would be ideal locations for my planned trolling motor batteries.

1995 Merc 200HP - its not broke. Should I fix it?

Brucato sells Carson reeds so I'll go that way and kill two birds with one stone. Thanks for your insight and happy Thanksgiving!

1995 Merc 200HP - its not broke. Should I fix it?

Thanks Ferm. I forgot to mention that I have a Brucato ECU. Amazingly it doesn't use the TPS at all - the wires are just dangling. Not sure if it could incorporate the choke but I would like that option. Maybe I'll send them an email. Pretty sure I'm going to send them the injectors for...

1995 Merc 200HP - its not broke. Should I fix it?

I bought a V two years ago with a 1995 Merc 200HP EFI on the back of it. I rebuilt the low pressure fuel pump and replaced the switch packs when I got it but since then it has run great - strong and smooth. It can be hard to start once in a while but for a motor its age I feel its running very...

    Fill hole with what?

Epoxy the inside of the hole and put a single hole laboratory stopper under the clam shell. Secure enough yet easy to remove. https://www.medical-and-lab-supplies.com/size-no-5-black-rubber-stopper-1-hole-qty-1.html
