I am replacing the louvered vents on both sides on my v20. It had black plastic, replacing them with stainless steel. My question is, does the direction of the vents affect anything other than looks? I ask this because it would seem to me that visually, they should point to the aft...

I inherited this v20 from my wife's grandfather... it was sitting for 6 years before I towed it to Florida. He mentioned that he had the gas hatch screwed in and most definitely caulked - said you have to caulk it shut. So I am curious myself... it seems like it makes sense to keep the water...

So I am literally at the end of a two year v20 rehab!! The floor was the last (almost) thing to do... and it turned out awesome! I was hesitant to do it on my own, what material to use, what color... the list goes on and on. I actually tried dome garage floor paint... no good at all. I did...

I searched high and low man... to no avail for 2 years. Then one day, my wife's grandfather (who I bought the boat from) says... you should grab the two transom baskets that are in my garage - they're from your boat and they come in handy. I hope you can locate some!!
