I swamped logged for 20 years. Use to dribble diesel fuel on my boots when filling my tractor. They can't stand that. When I did get some, I got a bar of Octagon soap and scrubbed hard, took care of them fast.

I have a craftsman rotory buffer that I use, works great. Just go slow and keep it wet and moving around as not to burn the gelcoat. Not hard but usually takes a whole day to get it done. Wax good when you finish to protect it longterm.

If you got a buffer, it's easy. Just takes a while. Just wash your boat first and dive right into it. Wish I had time to help you.

I always use 3M fiberglass restorer and wax . Keep a spray water bottle handy, keep it wet. I use a 6'' buffer and wool pad, dont put pressure on it and watch your corners. I use SP-350 at work, its anti corrosive and last awhile, good stuff. Cant find fluid film around here. Buddy of mine gave me a can years ago, also very good stuff.
