trim rod Yeah I checked it out, the rod is in position "1" and when I trim the motor all the way down, the rod is not touching anything so it isn't doing anything. I will remove it. Actually I should check my cowling latches also because my mechanic had them on and off several times. Thanks

Installing all new gauges for a newly rebuilt 94' johnson 150, don't know which is better water temp or water pressure? how does the pressure read ? Is there a spot on the engine for a sender for temp ? can anyone help

Thanks, Ihaven't put the tanks in yet, but the manufacturerer of the units ( Teleflex ) call for the sealant in their directions. There is a 3/16" thick rubber gasket with the kit, so I guess their just being over cautious asking you to do both sealant and gasket. Thanks
