    You're right. I'm not drilling the transom. It's the top of the dash to mount accessories. I ended up using stainless coax cable "clams". they have a rubber gland that tightens around the wire. It works to use it for other wire also. Just put some silicone if it's not a real tight seal. Looks...

    transducer creates roostertail

    I sure I installed the bracket and sounder in the right place, but I'm getting a vertical roostertail right at the transom and about 6" taller than the transom. Should front of the transducer be adjusted downwards? Thanks

    I just mounted a sounder. How do I fish the wire from the stern to the center consol? There appears to be two passage ways in the hull. One is wiring, and the other is steering. Thanks
