Not as familiar with the 2.4s as I am with the 2.5s but if it has a similar ignition system then I would check the wires going to the trigger. The trigger moves every time you move the throttle and sometimes the wires break from all of the back and forth motion. Not sure if it acts up long...

No scuppers since it was a I/o originally. Handles about same as it did when it still had the inboard. I'm very happy with the set up as a whole. I've used the maguires boat and rv in the past seems like good stuff. Here lately been using colonite and have been happy with it also. Don't think it maters much as long as it's a good wax.

Just looked at my bow eye last weekend... Went to remove it and the 34 year old piece of mild steel wellcraft used as a backing plate and it crumbled to dust when I tried to remove it. After removal found that the u bolt was bent and corroded also. So new project for the coming weekend I guess
