    V20 w/ Bracket on e-bay

Will e-mailed me asking about the compression test. I thought I would post my response since I am hardly an expert on this stuff - I basically learned it here! I wrote: Definitely post this Q on the site, you will get plenty of advice. Also, if you have time, do a search on the site (at the top...

    Pontoon boat

I stopped by the Wooden Boat festival at Huddy Park in Toms River New Jersey this past weekend and snapped a picture of this huge pontoon boat. Imagine the size of the yacht this guy uses this as a dingy for.... I actually saw it flying in the bay but it was too fast for me to grab a picture.

    V20 w/ Bracket on e-bay

My dad has that year and HP engine and has never had any problems - though he maintains it regularly. Obviously get the compression check. I am pretty sure Ocean Beach marina is a Yamaha dealer (in addition to Wellcraft) - it's possible they will know the history of the boat/engine - may have...

    V-20s everywhere

I FINALLY got the boat in on Saturday and spent all day yesterday with the wife on the Manasquan river, Barnegat Bay and Toms River (Central New Jersey). Boat handles like a dream in the rough chop of the bay. Engine ran soilid for 4 1/2 hours straight. I was amazed at how many v-20s are in the...

    Why a V20?

The open space of the cockpit combined with the cuddy cabin you can walk thru makes this boat really flexible in terms of use. My wife can go to the bathroom in the cuddy (a major plus), but I still have the ability to walk around - almost like a center console. It is a great family boat you can...

    For sale 1994 V21 w/ Yamaha 150 ob

94v21, Nice looking boat. I noticed on the listing that you replaced the transon access doors. Where did you get them? Also, I like that you replaced the fiberglass access hatches in the cuddy with Starboard. I have a 95 v21 and those things are really friggin heavy! I added handles, but may...

    Best wax?

I should be done with the compounding of my hull this weekend and will hopefully be moving on to the wax. Anyone have any recommendations for a really good marine wax? I know they make this Teflon stuff now, and I used to use caranuba. Any thoughts on what works best?
