Handled top speed about 42 no problem...mine a 3 bow w/stiff leg supports back, straps front...never laid mine completely down...just released front straps, folded it back and put boot on...left it standing up w/back leg supports in place...

I glad you clarified the Kevlar construction claim on these hulls... And that ceramic tranny core...all the ceramic I ever ran across had ZERO flex to it...about as much as a coffee mug...was it that type ceramic material?

Kracker, you sure got the clean look you were going for...looks GREAT!!...I'm like the question above...are you going to seal and fasten that hatch lid down...Starboard floats ya know...I was on a flats boat recently when the worst case scenario happened...and the splashwell's hatch lid floated...

:sun:I always sed the V20 is the everything boat...fully rigged out for striper fishing; rod holders, bait tank, etc, etc....in less than an hour all that removed and converted into a family/ski boat complete w/tow pylon and extra chairs...did that many times while the kids were growing up w/a...

I made a pair of boxes outta 1/4" and 3/4" Starboard for my old 21...In addition to what's in this picture, use !/4" to make an flange around the inside to seat onto the opening and give you a way to fasten the box into the opening...use a router on all edges for a good finished look...

I'd go w/a softer material over hard plastic any day...there is no give w/the harder material, so more prone to nick the edges as sand and other hard debris are pushed between the impeller tip and the housing...chinking away the edges will eventually lead to loss of pressure/volume... In a...
