    Yeah still at $2550...but add the travel expense $1500...then about $1500 to re-rig.(without electronics) add another $4000 for an engine rebuild...hmmm $9500+ and your close to buying a clean, running seaworhty boat...well itll be fun to watch For now, I'll just take my 42 yr old Airslot back...

    looking at a 02 210 fisherman...non running engine...looks ok in photos but 1200 miles away...could be a great deal...hes open to offers looking to move up from my 74 Airslot 185.... any key issues to ask about...look for...photos hide a lot but looks clean and complete except for dead...

    Ok....motor is frozen. pulled the heads..found some corrosion is port lower cylinder...soaked with Marvel x 1 week...wont budge even with a socket and breaker bar on the flywheel not...tried electric impact as well...doesnt move. Carb/intake look clean...gonna pull the intake and take a look at...

    The boat was not sunk..it took on a lot of water because of a gash in the outer sponson. The water was below the gunwales. the batteries and battery switch were submerged. The engine was tilted fully up, the engine cover was touching the water, not sure if the carbs/powerhead got water or...

    Came back from fishing in the Sea of Cortez, tied up to our friends mooring buoy...cooked up a batch of triggerfish fish tacos...couple of cervezas and bed time... .awake the next morning to the sunrise, sipping on coffee...I notice that I cant see the red stripe on my 74 Airslot 185...

    Leaky boat

    Well i did fix the gash but that was NOT the leak...turns out it is the starboard lower engine mounting bolt...so..is it as simple as pulling the bolt, coating it with sealant and replace?

    So...each trip down to Baja and each morning we launch and have to run the bilge pump forever...same thing at the ramp...pull the plug and it drains forever...put the plug in...added garden house and voila! found the leak starboard side lower engine mounting bolt Best technique for repair...
