I've heard the 150 is actually churnin out 165 at the prop...have you run across any similar info on the 175?...what it's true prop HP is?...the 200 requires Hi-Test btw...

BINGO!...Bradford's ZACKLEE RIGHT...Do the long shaft on the motor and you'll never regret it. If you haven't already, check the Zuke for corrosion around the base of the power head and top of existing mid...less likely if it's been in fresh water, but still you should look at that

Everything I ever saw about proper motor height boils it down to cav plate height above the water w/boat on plane. The cav plate on plane should be 1/2" to 1" above the water. The only reason to set it any lower would be if your particular hull/motor/prop combination has a tendency to...
