im asking about solid lifters with the oil hole in the bottom as I did read in the big banger forum that the cams do wear when you regrind them mainly because of not enough zinc in the oil if you want to change the subject to oils at least let me start a thread lol

Has anyone used these or know someone who has -they seem a good idea but how does it affect oil pressure and does it help cam lobe wear ?

Ha Ha I asked which one not none , I don't want the seal on the camshaft and I don't want my cam chain running the water pump .YES IT WOULD BE a good idea to have a spare .the water pump will only work on temp 160 plus ...ill remember you told me so

Both the same pumps one plastic the other aluminum both 115 L/M --I like the alloy one

im only asking from what I read the hole shot should be similar but a wot the aluminum would flex and I would think a steel prop would run smoother from not changing shape . I have 2 props same spec one aluminum one steel ill have to wait and see the benefits in performance myself seeing is...

Would it right to say a stainless prop of 17 inch pitch would be the same as a 18 inch Aluminum prop ---my understanding is 2 props same pitch one steel the other aluminum the steel will give you better holeshot and more speed at wot correct ??????? :oh:

there is 2 water outlets on the bottom of the manifold so when I have no water going through the intake they will do nothing thanks

I did do some research and one of the guys said that camshafts fail lobe when there reground I have seen it happen too a lot from not running the cam in properly --not using proper cam lube --not priming the engine with oil and turning the engine over by hand too many times before start up . I...

yes I have been looking at that forum and joined mine had the 2 barrel intake and I saw the 2 water feeds under the intake ill have to wait till I assembly the engine and then check out all the hoses and route them how I want thinking about using the blus hoses to smarten it up :haha:

yes the intake side I was talking about I wanted to stop hot water from the cooling system going in the intake I am aware that the cooler the intake charge the better the performance . I need to look at the system when I get it back together. so what your saying is the the engine coolant cools...
