    RUB RAIL

I used one from Taco. Semi-rigid base that screws down (used 5200 also). Then a rubber insert works in and covers the screws. I opted for black and like the contrast. What a difference. It really accentuates (sp)the v20 swale.

    Top Dog!!

GREAT pic. I'm a Lab guy all the way. Lost mine almost 2 years ago - really tough. It's about time to make a new relationship with another great lab. It will never replace my old friend, but I think it's about time to move ahead. Thanks for that picture. She looks sweet.

    Filet-O-Fish

Rapala - I'm considering that electric though. Wonder how well it goes through deer. The rechargable one would be great if it has the power.

    I bid a sad farewell......

Don't go dude. We are who we are, and that's why this board is great. I'm a member of a number of different forums, as I have many interest, and this is one of the best because of people like you. You are who this board is, and if someone who doesn't like that has a problem, they need to move...

    Filet-O-Fish

I know you old pros have it down pat ;). Just thought I'd put out a how-to for any beginners. Of course, there's more than one way to clean a fish - this is mine. This is a Lake Erie walleye from the 03 class - they are just keepers this year, but great eaters. An extremely mild fish. Blessed...

    I/O running temperature

Hey 76GMC1500, Why do you want the engine to run on the hot side? Curious as to the mechanics behind that. Thanks

Lake Erie has 12 less eyes!

Great pics Bill. Did the same 2 miles off the NW tip of Kelly's island Fri, Sat, and Sun. Having a ball with that 03 class of walleyes (great eating size). Heading out again tomorrow. I'll take pics this time. What kind of batter is that. I've been dusting mine with 'shore lunch'. Same with perch.

    Bottom Paint Removal

I tried several things.  The more expensive, the less it worked. Here's the ticket:  BIX (important to get the orange can) from Home Depot.  15 bucks for a gallon with spray bottle.   It will turn that old paint to soft butter in 15 minutes.  Good stuff.

    I/O running temperature

Had the same deal - got towed in. The water pumps (impellers)are only good so long. The parts kit, which includes the housing, on mine were $55. Labor extra and involves taking off the out drive (it's inside). Good to go now - Might put in a new thermostat for cheap while your at it.

    Teak Finish

OK - another question. I did a search on cetol here and am sold. What is the prep? If I oiled it last year is that an issue of compatability or is cetol oil based?

    Alcohol additive to gasoline

It does? Another good reason to down those ales as fast as possible. ;D I knew I was doing it right.

    Teak Finish

What do you guys use on your teak. Last summer I cleaned sanded and oiled my and it looked great. Well that didn't last to long. Back to that faded out look in short order. I've heard some talk about a product called cetol or cecal or something. Is it a varnish or oil? If a varvish, is there a...

    V20 - Side Recessed Panels

The resin is epoxy (west marine 105 and 106 hardener). Don't know about the cloth. You may as well reinforce the corners and such while your in the mood and have your goop mixed up. The good side was filled/leveled with marinetex, sanded, and painted with topside paint (interlux brightside - white)

    V20 Caps available from LandsEnd

Re:  V20 Caps available from LandsEnd I'm even confused. What's the setup fee for? - they apparenty already have it setup (or digitized)! Looks like nice work, though. If you want, I'll do it - read my post in 'off topic' . If not not, I'm good with that too. Just making the offer. There's...
