Thanks, The rub rail is made by TACO. It is rigid vinly with a flexible vinyl insert. It seems to be the biggest difference maker hour-for-hour so far. The paint, I sprayed straight white. Here's what the rail looks like.

Did the accesories (see rod boxes in repair section) and refinished the teak, etc. Now I did the hull on my 82. Stripped and painted it white and added a new rub rail. Just putting stuff back together. Not done, but had to post. She's starting to amount to something. It's getting fun now.
