That's what I'm hearing for Staten Island also - Everyone stay safe - If you shovel - Do a little at a time - The good thing about this snow - If there is any thing good about it - Except it looks beautiful when it first comes down - Now for the good thing - It's going to be cold - So it's going to be a light snow - Not a heavy snow to shovel - Just be careful and be safe.
Substitute plywood for plow & chainsaw for for snow blower and it’s a lot like hurricane prep. Next 8-10 days we have highs in low 50’s and lows in the mid 20’s.
Nope. Oldmakemewalkfunny.
My son and I plowed and shoveled for my parents yesterday. And today I drove over an hour to get a retired guy I used to work with shoveled out. He has some medical issues.
Ostep that’s very nice of you. We might get another snow storm this Sunday. They are not sure yet at this time but it’s supposed to come up the coast. I hope it misses us in northern New Jersey. I’m waiting for spring. And of course this is the first year I didn’t cover my boat
They're even forecasting some white stuff for us this Saturday, part of the same system that steplift20 is talking about. I'm hoping it pulls away from us and doesn't leave anything. We've already had more than enough (relatively) cold temps for our area. It's been about a year since we had measurable snow here, and before that it was several years. I wouldn't mind it so much if I didn't have to go to work in it!
Glad you fellas are ok up north. Last weekend we had about a half an inch of snow, turned to sleet, then rain. Nasty stuff. Been really cold this week. Pipes freezing and bursting everywhere in the steel mill. Weather man is calling for up to a foot of snow for the weekend . I'm on all days till I retire May 1st. Being home on the weekends is nice for a change. Yall be safe out there.
Between 1-2 inches of solid ice still covering much of the ground, surfaces, roofs, etc. from the storm last weekend. Who knows what will happen tomorrow - saying like 4-8 in of snow, but the part that worries me is high winds. Take care guys!
Staten Island / New York missed this one - All week they said we were in for another one - My brother in Georgia say's he's getting blasted and the same with my friend in North Carolina - Up here we've had real mild winters for a long time - It was only a matter of time before
MOTHER NATURE said WAKE UP - It's FREAKIN' WINTER
Everyone be careful and be safe
