1 or 2 or both ?

How do you use your battery’s? I have 2 with a battery switch. I run it on 1 battery but the other battery never gets used or charged. Do you use both battery’s? Hooked up at one time? I woul$ love to know your opinion.

Two batteries,1000 MCA, hooked up parallel, only switch is engine isolation switch. Use both at same time, charge both at same time.

I know, all eggs in one basket. I’ve had more problems with battery switches than batteries.

I had two batteries and every time I went out I would switch them from 1 to 2 and visa versa - Never had a battery problem - But that's me - Other problems YES 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸

I don’t like the parallel all the time setup. One battery goes south, could cause the other to fail quick. But my switch has the ability to combine both. I understand switch issues.. always good to have some wrenches in case of switch fail. Depending on setup, type of switch and engine package, damage to charging system can occur if you turn the knob while engine is running.

My switch had - 1 - 2 - 0ff and all - Go out today on 1 tomorrow switch it to 2 and start her up - For me it seemed one battery was always charged But that just me 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

I have 2 batteries in my truck. The cold we had a couple weeks ago killed them, truck wouldn't start. Ended up taking both batteries out. Charging each one and trying to start on one battery. Found one was stone dead, wouldn't hold a charge. Just put one in and charged it for a while and truck started. Drove it like that 2 or 3 days till I got new interstates. Had to plug block heater in too! So if u r running both at the same time it's only as good as the weak battery

I have one Group 27 Interstate. The best battery you can buy in my opinion. 4 years old and very strong. On a V-21 not much room for a 2nd battery with the oil tank on port side and I don't want to run long cables from up front. I always bring my compact NECO jumper. Always

Are most newer boats in the 20 foot range set up with 2 batteries? Having had the Pipe Dream for so long with its 2-battery setup I was just wondering if that's still the most common arrangement.
