How much do you watch? We have roku. I watch alone sometimes. And mountain men every now and then. Wife watches some crap. I'm outside with a bonfire, more interesting. Owls hooting. Someone just did a big burnout down the road. Gun shots off in the distance. Yeah I'm in the country.

Most of the time if our TV is on it's on sports: football (college & pro), basketball (college), horse racing, and a little baseball. My better half has it on reruns a lot, stuff that she/we have seen over and over like sitcoms (Raymond, Friends), old stuff (love old Andy Griffith reruns) basically for noise. We did enjoy Yellowstone while it was on but hardly ever watch any new programs. We've binged some stuff now that we have Amazon prime, some good, some bad. One of the best we binged was Justified. And since you mentioned it, we have a lot of owls here on the island, too, several kinds. We had a Great Horned Owl pair take up an old crow's nest in a tall pine in our yard a few years ago, and watched them raise two offspring. That was really cool.

We have a couple of Samsung TVs which provides a ton of free channels, like mountain men, alone, hunting/fishing shows, cooking, etc. Most of it is old episodes, like some 15 years ago, but can't beat the price right? We never really had cable to begin with so who cares if it is old episodes as long as I have never seen it!?! Lately, in my man cave I've been watching Dog Whisperer. Whatever I'm playing it stays on 24x7, for noise and when I'm asleep in the house the TV noise serves as a deterrent to anyone thinking about breaking in (along with the beware of dog signage).

Cesar saved us with our last dog. We’d had a couple of Lab/Springer mix pups and found them easy to train and socialize. Our last girl was a Pit/Lab mix. She was a high energy maniac until she was two, but when we “got” Cesar’s respect lessons, she turned out to be a sweet pup. She was always strong willed, but we established our pack leader positions and had a great dog, thanks to the dog whisperer.

His tactics and understanding of dog psychology is amazing. Once you know what to do THEN it is all about patience and effort. It isn't like caesar can come in, snap his fingers and SHHHH and the dog is fixed (even tho it seems like it lol).

Patience and consistency. It’s too easy to miss, forget, or let little things slide. He’s so good at seeing what’s going on in a dog’s brain, it’s amazing. ‘You gotta snap the brain outta it”.😂. The beauty of it is that if you establish the relationship, you “don’t gotta snap the brain outta it”, a look or a word is all you need.
