    Dash, tackle center, flooring

Thanks fellers, That bedliner was a spray can in black from Home Depot used to take the place of the black vinyl that was on the port dash area. Good stuff, for sure. Probably comes in a few other colors. The floor is actually the cheap outdoor carpet made from plastic milk cartons. I...

    Back in the fold

Hey, anyone remember WiseGuy? Heeee's back!!!!! Well, after a loooong hibernation, I got off my lazy *** and am getting my rig back in the water. Getting her back tomorrow from a repower job, spending some cash, redoing half of what I already did originally, and splashing her in (fingers...

HEY - Here I am! I guess I've really been out of the loop this year. I've only checked the site a few times and haven't been on the boat at all! Been getting grief from the boys that depend on me to get out on the water. Just haven't had the usual 'get up an go' for some reason. Hope...

    Stripping Bottom Paint

If you can pay someone, that's the way to go - it's a $hitty job to do for sure. Here's mine as I started at the bow, stripping and wiping down. I used the BIX in the orange can, as it stated OK for fiberglass - no ill effects. Would it hurt the gelcoat sitting on it over a long period of...

    Stripping Bottom Paint

I used an excellent stripper called BIX from Home Depot. Spray on thick, let sit maybe 10-15 min., spray a little more, wait 5 min, then run over it with with a plastic putty knife/scraper - Like butter! Then I hit it again later with a light coat and wiped it clean to the gelcoat. That will...

Recommendations on a GPS/depth finder combo??

sRe: Recommendations on a GPS/depth finder combo?? rhahn427, I'm assuming of course that we are looking at sister models and the 480 to 480 are the same pixels, same screen, same box, same buttons, same software and functions. The difference is the peak power and depth capacity as you said. I...

HEY CTT..and the rest of you I/O guys

2500 puts her about 21-22 mph I'm topping out around 39 at wot now. I just haven't been able to really play with the high end much do to the chop and don't see any reason for me to be going anywhere over 30 mph, except for the occasional rush factor. 8)
