Looks like it might be the trigger? Everything else check out with the ohm meter fine. We went off the troubleshooting checklist for the motor on CDI's site

ran great on the way out and as I made my approach I did notice a different tone from the motor as we backed down throttle to lower RPM....I did not think to look at my tach. But we found some sholes then drifted for about a half hour and went to move and she just kept turning over

go to sherwin williams or any paint store and get some elastomeric paint and mop this over the foam if you can reach it all and this will protect your foam from moisture intrusion and uv breakdown
