  • hey was siked for you, guess thats a good thing to open his trap about haha, then again telling me is like telling the wall because who else would i tell about it rather than you. I am up to 4 sanding coats,5 compound coats and 4 wax coats already done on the seacraft what a job but it looks pretty good now considering its 24 yrs old. next is the new steering system, installation of an electronics box, minor floor repairs and radar and northstar installations. Why did i do this ?????
Not a done deal on the motor. I only told Joe I was looking and thinking about it. The guy is on a cruise this week, so I'll talk to him again when he gets back. There's a good chance I'll buy it, but we'll see.
He can't keep his trap shut about anything. LOL
My trailer for the 21 fits on the seacraft perfectly so i think I am even good with the trailer, going to also put the radar and northstar in the seacraft and i will have an inexpensive upgrade to a larger joe like machine. Now the only dreamwould be a 4 stroke but then again who has joes cash damit !!! Whats up with the scout ? You get in the water much this yr ?
Yeah, when Joe told me you were looking at that Seacraft, I told him those pics were taken right where I used to slip my Grady White. I had looked at it a couple times listed on CL. That's a real good buy there and with the engine swap, there's basically no unknown's to deal with. You know you've got a good motor. You checked out the hull already, just fix up the trailer and have it buffed out and you're good to go.
Check with Drinkwater trailer in Pembroke. They'll take your trailer and go right through the whole thing to bring it up to speed for a fraction of what a new trailer would cost.
    Good luck with it.
Can't wait to see it. We can't all be like the macoman you know.
