@sgnhis What part of the country are you in? Virginia? These 2 stroke Yammy 150's show up all the time here in North Carolina and the southeast for that matter.

@GTaylor1975 If you're looking for someone/somehow to do a cap off rebuild, there is an excellent rebuild that @Slightly Twisted did removing the cap, removing the stringers and adding an engine bracket. I found the forum on The Hull Truth, but the link on WellcraftV20 doesn't seem to be working.

I would say it comes down to funds. I'd expect the 140 with rigging and install would run around $17k, depending on where you're located. That would get you piece of mind and a great warranty. (I just repowered my 16' Privateer with a new 50hp Tohatsu and I love it). Although you could probably...
