Fall fishing this year has been off the hook, but the timing has been a little off. Tog fishing was as good as ever, probably still is but everyone has been chasing striped mullet. Never really got on the Rocks until January, but O...M...G...it has been as good as it ever gets. 40" fish...

We were headed north from Oak Island yesterday. Somewhere around Willmington (I think) we saw a V-20, Skools Out, being trailered on 17N. Could it have been? One thing I immediately noticed is that it didn't have twin 225's, so it probably wasn't Schools himself :) So, who was it?

I'm looking for a simple GPS, like a Garmin 126 / 128. Don;t need a chartplotter unit. Want to mount it in my radio box to interface with other items up top. Would prefer a small fixed mount that will show output in TD's, thats why I mentioned the Garmin units. Small, cheap, black and white...

For those that may not know, the Bluefin bite has been insane out of Hatteras and OI. We fished down there on 3/9 and it was EPIC. Bluefin from 150-300 everywhere, and a few bigeyes in the mix just for pain. Don't get me wrong, we had fun, but this was not your average fun fishing trip...

Watched the V roll down the road, hooked to another's tow vehicle. It's been a great run the last 8 years, and I'm sure gonna miss her. As soon as she turned the corner I fired up the 225 Opti on the muffs just the let her warm up. It helped, but I still have this empty feeling...

Who here has an Excursion? I'm in the market for a different vehicle. Being that the Proline weighs between 7000 - 7500 fully loaded, I'm looking at either 2500 Suburban or an Excursion. I know that a 1500 Burb would probably work, but I'm not sure I won't have a bigger boat in 2-3 years...

Had the chance to fish wednesday and Thanksgiving morning. Going to go again Sunday it looks like. The Tog fishing has been on fire. Have several fish over 10#'s. I will try to get a real report up over the weekend. 'Slot
