Finished and ready to use. I wanted two seats in the back of the boat for bottom fishing seating, but I did not want them permanently mounted to the floor. So if we are trolling for stripers, blues , or albies, I don't bring them because they tend to get in the way of the open space that's needed when trolling. Simple enough and no holes in the deck.

"schmoo board" bait cutting board made of PT plywood. Drilled five 1/2" holes thru so schmoo can drain off the boat.

I lightly clamped the two 2x4 pieces to the gunnel and made a mark across the top of the two pieces then cut the angle on the table saw.

all done in place with a nice snug fit by adding a couple of pieces of duct tape to the inner 2x4 pieces. Also the tape stops the wood from scratching the gunnel.
