  took out the old bleached out teak swim platform and the o/b powerhead. Lower unit pressure tested fine. Water pump is next.....   Here's the dash set up that came with the boat...thanks to corrosion the only thing that worked was the tachometer. Part of the console and dash were full of drill holes that it looked like swiss cheese from prior installation of large, bulky 80's vintage electronics.   Here's what the forward cockpit looked like at the time of purchase. Included as part of the sale were a hummingbird LCD fishfinder that was so old that it had a pixel resolution of 3x3, a burnt out Apelco VHF, "Sea Ranger" loran and a compass that leaked and had no more fluid for the card to float on....get the picture?? a real #@%$*!! mess. The only plus was the hydraulic steering...and yes, that leaked too.
