  The v20 is an 88' saw it for sale on the internet...fell in love with it and knew it had potential. I had it flatbedded to NY. It was chalked out and faded by the harsh Florida sun where it sat tied up to a dock for two years.   Even the top of the outboard cowling was chalked-out and faded. This is pure neglect + UV radiation.   I went right to work by tearing down the 150hp johnson. The water jackets were full of salt. Used "salt away" to flush out all the salt phospates, scales and gunk...and it worked! The piston rings were stuck with carbon build up because the last owner did not know how to premix his oil and his VRO unit crapped out. Love those Johnson VRO's!!....NOT!
